Zuckerberg takes Elon Musk’s challenge to cage match seriously, spokesperson confirms | wayne dupree

A spokesperson for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that he takes Elon Musk’s challenge to a cage match seriously. Musk is the owner of Twitter and a fellow billionaire.

Musk wrote, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options,” in response to reports that Zuckerberg’s Meta was preparing to launch a competitor on Twitter. It will at least be “healthy”. For a brief moment, I was worried.

Musk then said, “I’m in for a cage match if he’s lol,” after learning that Zuckerberg was a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner.

On Wednesday, Zuckerberg responded to Musk by agreeing to a wrestling match and adding the comment “Send me the location.”

The ball is now in Musk’s court, according to The Verge associate editor Alex Heath, who also quoted a Meta rep who said, “The story speaks for itself.” Heath confirmed that Zuckerberg’s Instagram post was not a joke.

The timing and likelihood of a match between the two tech rivals is still uncertain. Musk will most likely require extensive preparation before facing Zuckerberg, who last month won gold and silver in his first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition.
