WWE star Carmella announces she is pregnant with her first child after two miscarriages

Leah Van Dale, also known to WWE fans as Carmella, celebrated some big news on Monday.

The wrestling celebrity, 35, is expecting her first child with husband Matt Polinsky, 39.

Leah first broke the news on Good Morning America, telling the show she was “cautiously optimistic” after suffering two miscarriages last year, including an ectopic pregnancy.

“It’s all been such a whirlwind,” she said after revealing she received the good news in March. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary on April 7.

“I think because of my background it was hard to get excited about this one, but I was cautiously optimistic. I’m trying to have a good mindset, a positive mindset this this time, and it worked, so I’m very happy with it.

The former Smackdown champion quickly took to social media where she shared the good news with her 3.3 million fans.

“After every storm there is a rainbow,” she wrote.

“Our little miracle is due in November and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”

Leah shared black and white photos of herself and Matt, whose stage name is Corey Graves, including a photo from the ultrasound.

The model wore a white bra top and an open button up shirt, with her jeans unbuttoned in snaps showing off her growing baby bump.

Her long brown hair was styled in long waves.

Matt, looked relaxed in a white T-shirt and jeans.

Another snap showed a soft white onesie with ‘Little Miracle’ written on it, alongside a photo of the ultrasound and a sign saying the baby was due in November 2023.

While speaking with GMA, Leah shared a sentiment that many moms-to-be can sympathize with, revealing morning sickness was “crazy.”

“I was so tired, more tired than I’ve ever been in my life,” she explained.

“But I have never been so happy to feel so bad. I was great, I mean mentally. It’s kind of this weird space where I’m excited, but also a little worried about miscarriages. It’s a shame that it robs you of the real excitement that should be there.

Matt has three children from his marriage to his first wife, Amy Polinsky; a son, Cash, and two daughters, Lenny and Lola.

Leah said the trio, whom she calls her “bonus kids.” eagerly awaiting a new sister or brother.

“They were so, so excited and made us even more excited to have the baby. It’s so amazing.
