Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats artist, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has revealed plans to launch a jewelry line.
Wizkid revealed that his recently acquired multi-million naira diamond necklace is the first of six pieces his jewelry line will be making this year.
Wizkid also revealed that he designed the piece himself, noting that it was the start of his jewelry line.

The “Essence” crooner revealed this while appearing on the latest episode of the Afrobeats audiovisual podcast hosted by Shopsydoo Adesope.
He said, “This (the necklace) is actually the first piece I designed myself. It’s the first of the six pieces I’m doing this year. And yes, the beginning of my jewelry line. So, it’s about to be something exciting happening.
