On Saturday, a steady stream of locals came to pay tribute to Luise, laying flowers and chocolates at a makeshift shrine at the edge of the fall. Luisa and Anna-Maria are believed to have led Luise to her death through a disused railway tunnel that leads from the village of Hohenhain, just two miles from Freudenberg, into the forest.
