In the lawsuit she alleged that there was a misogynistic culture at Carlson’s show naming McCaskill. According to her lawsuit, she complained about sexual harassment by two male producers. She added that McCaskill discriminated against her because she was Jewish, and that she felt “constantly gaslight and belittled by” him.
According to the lawsuit, she alleged that McCaskill commented that ox News’ “mothers’ room,” where employees could pump breast milk, was a “waste of space”. She also alleged that he once mocked the appearance of Rep. Kathryn Cammack (R-FL) as “fat like Kelly Clarkson,” and even engaged in a conversation suggesting that a booker on Carlson’s show should “sleep with Elon Musk to get [an] interview.”
Alexander McCaskill Antisemitic
According to a lawsuit filed by former Fox News producer, Abby Grossberg who served as the head of booking for Tucker Carlson’s show. She alleges that McCaskill made offensive jokes about Jews. She alleges that McCaskill displayed “his discriminatory animus” against her last October over Christmas decorations in the booking staff’s area in the office. The loud inflatables distracted her, but when she tried to turn them off, McCaskill called her a “Scrooge” and a “Grinch”. She added that he also hung a sign on a Christmas tree that had been placed near her desk that read, “Hannukah Bush.”
In another instance, she says McCaskill invaded her privacy by asking where her tattoos were. The lawsuit also alleges that McCaskill also repeated antisemitic tropes against another Jewish employee, Eldad Yaron, an Israeli-born booking producer, in front of other staffers for taking time off to observe both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur “because they fell on back-to-back weeks.”
She also alleges that McCaskill suggested that Yaron be nominated for Fox News Spotlight Awards, for “Inclusion Ambassador of the Year” because he was an “Israeli Jew,” and could use the $10,000 prize to buy the team pizza for a year. He also allegedly made fun of Yaron for buying lunch at a Jewish bakery known as Breads Bakery, telling staffers that he went “to see his people” at the “Jew bakery.” In December, Yaron brought a babka to the office to share with the staff ahead of New Year’s when McCaskill began to “loudly and obnoxiously” demand that the booking team have “the bread made by the Jews.”
A Fox spokesperson however dismissed the allegations claiming they were false and never happened, Grossberg was however forced to take an administrative leave after she filed the lawsuit and was later fired.
