Jaclyn is the co-anchor of FOX5 News each weekday alongside John Huck.She joined FOX5 team in 2014 as a reporter before joining the evening news in 2019. Prior to joining FOX5, she was a reporter for NBC 12 News (KPNX-TV) where she created and executed live studio segments for 12 News Today on topics from fashion, art, events, money saving tips and live performances, coaching interviews and performers and planning stage direction with video and audio crews.
She began her journalism career while still at the university. She was the press release writer for the schools newspaper. She would write longer-form feature articles for the semi-annual magazine highlighting university achievements. She also composed press releases for the university to promote renowned speakers, art exhibits, political forums, student innovations and research at the behest of the Vice President of University Affairs. .
After graduating, she joined CBS News as a producer for the morning show. She worked there for one year and later joined Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as a reporter. She produced segments on health and lifestyle segments for the 25 to 35 age demographic on topics such as self-defense, beer trends, depression, sleep, and dating. In 2009, she became the weekend anchor for Sinclair Broadcast Group.
