Wayne Dawson is an American journalist working at WJW-TV as the co-host of the morning show Fox 8 in the Morning. He initially worked at WNIR-AM in Kent, Ohio as a reporter and anchor.
Before that, Wayne was a co-anchor of the weekend editions of FOX 8 News rated Number 1 for five consecutive years with Wayne behind the desk. For two years prior to joining WJW in 1981, Dawson was an anchor and reporter at WNIR-AM in Kent, Ohio.
