Uber executives react to viral video of Drive sexually assaulting unconscious rider | wayne dupree

In response to a viral video that appears to show a driver attempting to sexually assault a rider, Uber says it is working with police. The driver in the back of the car appears unconscious in the brief clip where a man confronts him.

The ride-sharing company responded to the video on Tuesday, April 11. It was posted by Inane Reality Leaks and received over 8,000 retweets in addition to over 16.8 million views. It’s unclear exactly when the incident happened, however.

The driver, who was wearing a black shirt and light colored pants, was shown in the video sitting in the backseat with his pants down when a man approached the vehicle and began filming with a flash.

The driver jumped out of the backseat, pulled up his pants and sat in the front seat as soon as he saw the guy filming. The driver is constantly asked, “What are you doing?” by the person filming. A blonde-haired woman leaning sideways in the seat was captured on a camera pan. On the driver’s door of the blue car, a huge white Uber sign was visible.

The individual shoot was able to capture the license plate number even though the motorist pulled over with the female passenger. It is not known in which country the incident took place, the driver’s steering wheel was on the right, which is rare for Americans.

Although the driver was allegedly banned by Uber support, no further information is known about him. It is also not known at this time whether the authorities intend to file a complaint or not. The identity of the woman remains a mystery.
