A shooting incident occurred at the Bordeaux Branch of the Nashville Public Library situated on Clarksville Pike in North Nashville, resulting in injuries to two individuals.
According to Metro police, one victim was shot within the library premises, while another was shot outside.
Medical responders transported one of the victims to Skyline Medical Center; however, the injuries sustained by both individuals are reported to be non-life threatening.
Based on the ongoing investigation, the shooting seems to have a targeted nature and doesn’t appear to be a random incident.
Authorities suspect that all those involved, including the shooter and victims, are minors.
However, no additional details have been disclosed at this time.
Nashville Public Library Bordeaux Branch stated, “Bordeaux will be closed the remainder of today and Friday, 8/11. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
