According to the latest study conducted by The Messenger/HarrisX, President Trump asserted that he garnered the backing of 59% of registered voters. The second position in the Florida gubernatorial race was secured by Governor Ron DeSantis, with a vote share of 14%, while software entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy garnered 8% of the votes. In the survey, it was found that the former Vice President, Mike Pence, received a support rate of 6%, and the former U.N. Ambassador, Nikki Haley, garnered a support rate of 3%. Both former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott received a 2% share of the votes.
Despite receiving warnings from officials of the Republican National Committee (RNC) on potential regrets stemming from his decision to abstain from participating in the debates, Donald Trump’s poll ratings seem to have been hardly affected by this choice.
The poll, which was carried out from August 24th to August 26th, involved a sample of 685 individuals who were registered voters. According to RealClearPolitics, the average lead he claims is 40.8%.
According to the study, President Joe Biden was judged to have a slight advantage over former President Donald Trump in a direct comparison, securing 45% of the respondents’ support compared to Trump’s 44%. The job approval rating of President Biden was recorded at 43%.

During Trump’s absence, a notable contender who stood out on the debate stage was Vivek Ramaswamy, a prominent figure in the technology industry. Among the viewers of the Republican debate, a significant proportion of 37% perceived him as the victor, while 19% expressed their preference for DeSantis, and 10% acknowledged Haley as the most outstanding performer.
