Tom Bradby Career
He has primarily served ITatN, as a producer of ITV News since 1990. Tom joined the station as an editorial trainee. After two years, Bradby became a producer for ITV’s political editor Michael Brunson in 1992. Tom served as ITV’s Ireland correspondent from 1993 to 1996, where he covered events including the Northern Ireland peace process, the IRA ceasefire, and Bill Clinton’s visit to Ireland in November 1995. Moreover, from 1999 to 2001 he then became ITV’s Asia correspondent.
In October 1999, He was injured whilst covering the riots in Jakarta against the newly elected President, Abdurrahman Wahid. Bradby moved to Britain and began a stint as a royal correspondent where he reported on the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the deaths of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret. Further, he had his first interview with Prince William and Kate Middleton at St James’s Palace after the couple’s engagement was announced on November 16, 2010.
