The hosts of View cheered, did “The Wave” and thanked God after learning that Fox News star Tucker Carlson had been fired.
Carlson and CNN host Don Lemon both lost their jobs Monday morning. But it was Carlson’s exit that brought smiles and applause to View.
Show moderator Whoopi Goldberg announced to the public that the conservative cable host was out, a week after Fox settled a $787.5 million libel lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems over election lies.
“News just broke that Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the Oscar-winning actress announced to cheers from the audience.

Goldberg then threw his hands up and encouraged the other panelists to do “The Wave” around the table.
The purple color The star told viewers that the ABC daytime talk show would have more on Carlson’s ousting tomorrow, but Ana Navarro needed a moment to celebrate – today.
“Can I ask the public if they will help me do something?” Navaro asked. Seconds later, she started waving her arms and started singing. ” Come on guys ! Na na na na. Na na na na. Hey, hey, hey. Bye!”
Sunny Hostin then stepped in and thanked the Almighty for firing Carlson.
“I don’t think anybody likes to celebrate the demise of someone’s career, but he’s responsible for the degradation that we see a bit of our democracy in this country,” she said. “And I just think, as a faithful person, look at God. Look at God!”
Even former Trump administration communications strategist Alyssa Farah Griffin was giddy.
Griffin said Carlson had to leave because he was “the biggest purveyor” of pro-Russian talking points about the war with Ukraine.
“Today is also a good day for the Ukrainian people,” Griffin said.
