‘The Flash’ is disappointing with its $55.1 million box office debut

The June 16 holiday didn’t bring much to celebrate this weekend at the box office.

Directed by Andy Muschietti the flash stars controversial actor Ezra Miller as The Flash and Barry Allen, who uses time-traveling superpowers to change events.

the flash underperforming because superhero movie fatigue is real unless the product is outstanding like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” Edwards said. “Ezra Miller’s personal baggage was also a drag. All in all, it was an average movie about a second-tier character.

Despite being hyped by the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, who described earlier this year the flash as “the best superhero movie I’ve ever seen”, critics gave it an average score of 67% on Rotten tomatoes.

Meanwhile, the film received a disappointing “B” CinemaScore public.

After CinemaScore posted its rating on Twitter, moviegoers responded to the post with their thoughts on the film.

One fan described parts of the film as “cheesy”. Another said: “It’s very bad, not even watchable.”

Still, others liked what they saw on screen, with one writing, “Really, really, really enjoyed this movie.”

It’s unclear why the movie failed to ignite a spark with DC fans.
