The Adani Foundation’s skills development vertical has achieved a major milestone by becoming the first skills center in the world to enter the metaverse.
Adani Skill Development Center (ASDC), or Adani Saksham, which completed seven years today since its launch on May 16, 2016, began its Metaverse journey with two courses.
The non-profit company, which aims to educate India’s youth and contribute to nation-building, said with this milestone, it continues its mission of using cutting-edge technology to train ready professionals. for the future.
“With Metaverse, ASDC is entering an exciting phase where knowledge, skills and technology converge to create an immersive educational experience through virtual classrooms,” the company said in a statement.
The ASDC has prioritized courses such as General Duty Assistant to support the healthcare and hospital industry, and Fire Safety in the Metaverse, he said, adding that more courses will be added in time. desired.
“It’s a game-changer, equipping trainees with a deep understanding of their chosen field, going far beyond the restrictions of a physical space. Learners from 40 Adani Skills Development Centers across 13 Indian states will be able to enroll in these courses in the metaverse,” the ASDC said.
The company will also make courses available globally so anyone can enroll using a computer.
