Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie is making headlines for allegedly impregnating actress Yvonne Nelson during her come-up and asking her to abort the baby.
Sadly, Yvonne revealed she aborted the baby – a mistake she noted she regrets.
Details of the whole experience were revealed in Yvonne’s recently published book – ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’.
According to Yvonne in her book, a Ghanaian musician called Sarkodie impregnated her and then questioned her about it.
“I had gone for a pregnancy test to confirm what becomes the most obvious conclusion for a sexually active young woman who misses her monthly flow. I was with Karen. And when the test result was ready, I wasn’t strong enough to open it. She did and pronounced the verdict.
“On an ordinary day, I would have burst out laughing and it would have sparked a series of happy conversations and jokes. I was not solely responsible for the situation, so I called the man whose powerful seed had germinated in me, his name is Michael Owusu Addo, a renowned Ghanaian musician, better known as Sarkodie.
“Sarkodie was an aspiring musician with the potential to become one of the greatest artists in Ghana and beyond. At the time, however, the future seemed uncertain and his path through the maze of life still seemed too foggy to predict. Success was not guaranteed. He still lived with his mother and was not prepared to carry a burden while he was carried by his mother.
“I wouldn’t call what developed between us a serious relationship. I turned to people in the music industry. For the longest period of my life, music has allowed me to escape all the nasty things life threw at me. So, I liked his talent. We started talking and got closer. Closer,” read excerpts from the book.
The news has caused a stir online as netizens go crazy over the revelation.
