“When a project like this comes your way, there are a lot of people trying to warn you and say, ‘It’s going to be difficult, it’s going to be very revealing, and there’s going to be a lot of intimacy.’ But I thought, ‘That’s good.’ I’m going to approach it as a European, as the way the French treat cinema, see their vision of the human body and their vision of relationships and intimacy. richard said Good morning.

“My attitude is ‘It’s the body, it’s the human body’. Just be a little laissez-faire about it. If you’re not comfortable with it, then that’s your problem. Don’t be uncomfortable about it,” he said. “We worked with an amazing intimacy coordinator called Adelaide Waldrop. I think people think of the Intimacy Coordinator as the early police, but she had a more directive point of view to help Glenn and Lisa as directors. She was sort of a director, a psychologist and a choreographer all at the same time. There were open doors and places where we could go and explore without inhibitions with everyone involved in this process and with everyone feeling not only comfortable with it but somehow excited about what we were going to try to do.
