Vanderpump Rules star, Rachel Levisschecked herself into a mental health facility following the fallout from her months-long affair with To M Sandoval released in March.
According to a Page Six insider, Raquel has been at the facility “for a while” and it’s not a silver bullet, as the source added, “It’s not short term. It is a long-term program.
According to sources, Raquel, at the urging of her family, had “decided before the relationship[entre elle et Sandoval]is discovered that she would be entering a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,” per Entertainment Tonight.
The source went on to add that Raquel was originally scheduled to enter treatment before the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion, but decided that she first had to fulfill her commitment to Bravo, who was apparently aware of Raquel’s intention to seek treatment.
“She was supposed to go pre-meeting but decided she wanted to finish her filming engagement,” the source said. “Bravo and the production were aware of and supportive of her journey to better mental health.”
Raquel’s rep made it clear that Raquel was not seeking treatment for drug addiction.
When news of the affair broke, Raquel released the following statement.
“I’m reflecting on my choices, talking to a counselor, and learning things about myself, like my patterns of codependency and dependence on being and feeling loved,” her statement read. “I have sought emotional validation through intimate relationships that are unhealthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others, and often prioritizing intimate relationships over my friendships.”
News of Raquel’s affair with costar, Tom Sandoval, who reportedly still has a relationship with partner of 9 years, Ariana madixdespite insisting that the two had been separated at least two weeks prior, took the Bravo world by storm.
While Raquel has remained silent since the Pump Rules reunion, Tom recently gave a controversial bombshell interview with howie mandel this was not well received as he repeatedly played the victim card while trying to justify his infidelity.
