Michael Shingleton is an American journalist who serves as an anchor for ABC affiliate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, WBRZ News 2. He anchors WBRZ News 2 at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 9 p.m., and 10 p.m. with Sylvia Weatherspoon.
Shingleton’s television career goes way back while in high school. He worked as a member of the floor crew for WBRZ. Then, he ran a teleprompter and pushed cameras. He then moved to switching tape and operating cameras which made him realize that he wanted to move from behind the camera.
During his spare time, Shingleton enjoys working out, playing golf, and also watching sports.
