Melbourne strip club manager reveals what happened at Lidia Thorpe’s party before outrageous row

The manager of a strip club where Lidia Thorpe was seen shouting profanity at punters claims the rogue senator was addressing ‘white men’ before the incident, saying: ‘You stole my earth”.

Ms Thorpe was filmed unleashing an extraordinary spray on a group of men outside Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club in Melbourne’s north at 3am on Sunday, telling one: ‘You have a small penis and another “you’re branded” in a menacing tone.

David Ross, managing director of Maxine’s, told Daily Mail Australia that Ms Thorpe’s behavior was ‘simply unacceptable’ and she had been banned for life from the establishment.

He revealed bouncers kept a close eye on the Greens defector throughout the night as she was ‘a bit argumentative’ during the crazy night out with friends.

“One of our security guards said they thought she (Mrs Thorpe) was going to be in trouble because she approached white men in the crowd and told them they had stolen her land “, did he declare.

However, Mr Ross said that although the senator was drinking, she was ‘not intoxicated’ and was not asked to leave.

The heated altercation occurred around 3 a.m. after the venue closed.

Ms Thorpe, who went out for a 50th birthday party with a group of three friends, previously told 7News she was allegedly provoked and harassed by the men.

“It’s sad that people are using everything they can to drag me down when we’re trying to discuss important issues in this country,” she told the network.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Ms Thorpe’s office to comment on claims she was the one taunting punters.

Mr Ross said he viewed the footage of the extraordinary spray on the club’s security cameras and had since spoken to staff working at night.

“She was very lively and argumentative,” he said.

“I think to the credit of our punters who were up front, they didn’t get aggressive and they tried to work through the situation.”

Mr Ross revealed he would write a letter to the senator’s office on Monday morning advising her that she had a lifetime ban from the club.

“I’ve never seen a racially-inspired problem at our club before,” he said.

“We have Lebanese, we have Muslims, we have Christians, we have blacks, we have whites. We have people of all nationalities coming to the club. I like to say that adult entertainment has universal appeal – no matter what background you come from, it’s all entertaining. But she is not welcome.

He added: “We’re a local club – we’re more like a local bar than a strip club – it just happens to have scantily clad women walking around. We are a very local club and we do not appreciate this type of behavior at all.

Mr Ross said he did not believe Ms Thorpe had visited Maxine’s – which describes itself as Melbourne’s ‘hottest strip club north of the CBD’ – before.

Footage of the incident shows Ms Thorpe pointing fingers at the men in a heated exchange.

David Ross, the club’s chief executive, said he had never seen a ‘racist-inspired incident’ on the site (pictured) before and was shocked by Ms Thorpe’s behaviour.

One calls her a “racist dog” to which she replies “f*** you” before a friend holds her back.

She said to the men, “All I want to say to the black brothers out there and everyone we’re fighting…

“Any black man standing with the f****** little white c*** like that – y’all (sic) can get f****** you too!”

The outspoken independent senator who parted ways with the Greens earlier this year, had gone out with friends to celebrate his 50th birthday.

One of the men asks, ‘how the hell can someone get into parliament like you?’

She replies, “We’ve been suppressed our whole fucking lives in this country and you let that little dog do the talking…”

A member of the group told 7News that the senator was “out of control.”

This isn’t the first time the former Green senator has been embroiled in controversy.

Last year, she was forced to resign as deputy leader of the Green Party in the Senate after failing to disclose her relationship with former biker boss Dean Martin while serving on a committee tasked with investigate motorcycle gangs.

She was also forced to apologize unreservedly after interjecting during a parliamentary debate with the phrase “at least I keep my legs closed”, which was allegedly directed at Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes.

In February, Ms Thorpe caused a scene at Sydney’s Mardi Gras parade when she lay down in front of an Australian Federal Police float after shouting “f*** the police”.

Last month, she interrupted a ‘Let Woman Speak’ event outside Parliament in Canberra organized by controversial women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull.

Draped in an Aboriginal flag, Ms Thorpe walked towards Ms Keen-Minshull, before being intercepted and shot dead by police.

She crawled along the lawn and walked towards a group of over 100 pro-trans counter-protesters.

The independent ‘black sovereignty’ movement senator later claimed she had been ‘pulverized’ by police and said Ms Keen-Minshull – whom she called ‘dirt’ – should not be allowed in to speak on Aboriginal lands.
