‘May we not die before our time’ – Nigerians react to dilapidated building where late Dagrin’s mother lives [Video]

A new video released online showing the gruesome house where the mother of late Nigerian rapper Dagrin lives has sparked outrage.

Failat Olaonipekun, Dagrin’s mother, recently revealed on a live show with Good Samaritans that she is struggling to live a healthy life.

The residence where the elderly woman is staying has been revealed in a new video going around in an attempt to verify her whereabouts and collect donations.

The man behind the camera walked around the house, pointing out the unsightly facade, as well as the deteriorated windows and other features.

The film captured the interior of the house and highlighted some of the awards Dagrin received before his terrible death in 2010, such as The Headies Award and others.

People on the live video who were soliciting funds for the late rapper’s mother lamented asking who was paid for his songs which are still streaming online to this day.

Some Nigerians who watched the video took pity on the old woman as they noted that if her son had not died, his life would be better.
