Luke Combs kisses his pregnant wife tenderly on the ACM Awards red carpet in Texas

Country superstar Luke Combs beamed alongside his pregnant wife Nicole as they arrived at the 58th Academy Of Country Music Awards at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas on Thursday.

The 33-year-old singer – who welcomed a baby boy last year on Father’s Day – looked handsome in a dark blue checked suit with a white pocket square over a black button-up shirt.

Nicole – who married the Beautiful Crazy hitmaker in 2020 – sparkled in a fringed rhinestone dress with matching high heels.

Her blonde locks were parted to the side and flowed down her shoulders in sleek curls.

Luke rested a hand on his wife’s baby bump as they posed together on the red carpet.

In 2018, the Love You Anyway hitmaker popped the big question, and the two got engaged.

Two years later, in August 2020, the couple said “I do” in a romantic ceremony in Florida.

During a previous interview on Absolute Country Radio, per Taste of Country, Luke opened up about what kind of dad he wants to be and his desire to have family on the road with him in the future.

“I would love to get them out as much as they want, as much as they can,” he explained.

“You know, I think it’s important. I don’t want to be a dad who isn’t there or the dad you see on TV and say, “Oh, that’s my dad, and that’s where he is today, I guess” , added the star. “Family is important to me. I would like to be the guy who throws the soccer ball at them.

‘I think [Brooks’ wife] Trisha [Yearwood] going to be on the show too, so I thought I wasn’t going to mess with that,’ Parton joked to reporters at a press event. “I don’t want her kicking my little ass!”

HARDY leads the nominations this year with seven, while Lainey Wilson is close behind with six nods.

Wallen was engulfed in controversy in 2021 after he was caught on video drunkenly shouting the N-word. In response, his recording contract was suspended and some radio stations stopped playing his music, while the streaming services removed his songs from playlists.

However, country fans reacted to his use of a racial slur by buying his 2021 album Dangerous: The Double Album in even greater numbers.

Lambert is the most awarded person at the ACM Awards, and she broke the record for most Female Artist of the Year nominations with her 17th this year, surpassing Reba McEntire’s 16.

Thursday’s ceremony performers include Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Jo Dee Messina, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen, The War And Treaty, Lainey Wilson and Bailey Zimmerman.

For her performance, Parton will debut World On Fire, the first song from her upcoming Rockstar album.

The cover LP is a departure for her, marking her first rock album, and it was inspired after her nomination – and then induction – into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
