Lorraine Kelly begs Gwyneth Paltrow to stop suggesting sex toys for dads in hilarious rant

Gwyneth Paltrow’s controversial Goop products are known to cause shockwaves.

And on Wednesday, the Hollywood star’s lifestyle brand’s expensive products were a hot topic on Lorraine, as Lorraine Kelly was stunned by one item in particular.

She pleaded with Gwyneth to ‘stop’ selling sex toys for dads, after the Goop founder released his Father’s Day gift guide.

The host, who was previously outraged by Gwyneth’s products, began by saying, ‘Gwyneth Paltrow, does she ever fail?

‘His Goop thing has released a Father’s Day gift guide, and for God’s sake their latest offer – I’m not kidding – includes a £10,000 Rolex, a £50 trip to the Arctic Circle £000, but the gift that got everyone talking, and not in a good way, is giving your dad a sex toy that costs £160.

“And apparently they suggest you buy this sex toy, I’ll let you imagine where this sex toy goes… you can guess, for your dad!”

‘Stop that! Gwyneth stop! You’ve gone too far, it has to stop now. Your father would never speak to you again!

In 2020, the show’s Hollywood reporter Ross King listed the products in an earlier Goop Christmas gift guide – including toilet paper costing £26 – leading to Lorraine’s outburst over some of the intimate items inducing the famous red face.

The annual Goop Holiday gift guide has raised eyebrows again thanks to its curated collection of bizarre merchandise, including a lamp made from bread, a special bag to store watermelons and a speaker to listen to plants.

Clearly in shock from the list, Lorraine uttered: Honestly! You can get a durable bog roller much cheaper than that! I don’t want a lamp made out of bread – although I suppose it would be handy if you wanted a snack”.

She then appeared to reference some of the more intimate features, including the now-legendary vagina facials and a vagina-scented candle, as she said: “I don’t want any of that nonsense stuff you stuff yourself thank you!”

Other items for sale include a vulva coloring book, a self-heating concrete tub, and a self-contained garden structure called the Studypod.

Gwyneth’s ten-part Goop gift guide actually includes some reasonably priced conventional items — but few people turn to the Queen of Vaginal Steamer and Yoni Eggs for “conventional” ideas.

In the end, Goop generously rounded up the most outrageous suggestions in his fun “Ridiculous but Awesome” gift guide.

While the $125,000 modernized VW electric bug is the most expensive thing on the list, the Goop x Avocado mattresses are more likely to raise eyebrows, which start at $38,000 each.

They are made with 29 layers of sustainably and organically sourced materials, including pure latex and traditional wool from Goop farms in India and royal alpaca cashmere from the Peruvian Andes.

Other layers include coir from the temperate zones of Asia, “non-violent” organic silk, and recycled steel coils tied together.

A Modern Tiny Living custom home, with a starting price of $99,000, and a self-heating concrete Igneous Bath, with a starting price of $100,000, also received the “ridiculous but awesome” label.

The listing also includes a $35,000 “pyramid dresser” designed by Kanye West favorite Elizabeth Paige Smith.

According to Goop’s website, the pyramid-shaped piece, which measures seven feet high and seven feet wide, “creates a spatial vortex in any room it is placed in, energetically raising the vibrations there. “.
