Redbone’s fame is not a soundtrack for Guardians of the Galaxy. But at their peak, they were made up of Native American and Mexican members, which is reflected in their music, costumes, and performances. They have received numerous honors, including induction into the Native American Music Hall of Fame, the NY Smithsonian, and the Lifetime Achievement “Legend” award from the West Coast American Indian Music Awards.
