In the Discovery Channel reality series, a man and woman are left in a remote location for 21 days with no access to food, water, fire, or clothing. On the sixth day, Osorio was sleeping when a kettle of hot water fell on her, scorching 10% of her body. Due to the risk of infection, the producers felt that she could not continue.
They did, however, welcome her back to N*ked and Afraid XL (2016), in which 12 competitors from the previous season’s episodes live together in the South African bush for 40 days. The 10-episode television series’ summer season premieres on Sunday. She described her TV appearance as “scary” and “terrible” as she viewed it with her family.
Twelve A-list N*ked and afraid survivalists compete in a one-on-one multi-phase challenge for $100,000 and the title of Last One Standing. The Discovery Channel debuted the show on May 7.
She told the Daily World of his last performance on The Last One Standing, “After each of the other two shows, I always made the joke that I was retired every time the producers called to try to get me back.” But it is difficult to keep turning down new challenges.
Stacey was unable to share many specifics about her most recent project for N*ked and Afraid, which sees 12 survivors compete over 45 days in South Africa’s Oribi Gorge for the chance to win $100,000, due to contractual limitations. She was keen to point out, however, that her most difficult voyage was the first.
