Kim Zolciak filed for divorce from her husband, Kroy Bierman.
Just as it was revealed that the The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple, whose fallout, Do not be lateairing for eight seasons on Bravo, owes the IRS $1.1 million in back taxes and $15,000 to the state of Georgia, Kim and Kroy’s 11-year marriage is coming to an end.
As court documents obtained by TMZ on May 8 revealed, Kim suggested her marriage to Kroy was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation” and listed their date of separation as April 30.
As RHOA As fans know, Kim and Kroy share four children, including Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash Kade, 10, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 9, and also share two grown daughters. Brielle Biermann And Ariana Biermanwhom Kroy adopted after their marriage in November 2011.
In Kim’s divorce filing, the reality star, who was previously married to Daniel Toce from 2001 to 2003, sought primary physical custody and joint legal custody of her and Kroy’s four minor children, as well as spousal support from the former professional soccer star.
She even asked the court to restore her maiden name.
News of Kim’s divorce filing and tax debt comes just months after she and Kroy’s Atlanta home were reportedly foreclosed.
After months of rumors suggesting that Kim and Kroy were set to lose the mansion, which Kim has continually denied, it has been confirmed that their property never went up for auction as scheduled in March.
Just a few months ago, during a Q&A on her Instagram Story, Kim gushed about her marriage to husband Kroy and revealed how they keep things spicy.
“Have you seen Kroy??? My God!!!!!! We are very lucky to have such a strong bond and attraction to each other,” Kim told a fan.
Then, when another asked for her marriage advice, Kim replied, “Sex, sex and more sex.”
During the same chat, Kim explained what Kroy does for the job.
“Kroy manages all of our careers and [Salty K Swim]. He also earned close to $20 million, so we’re good,” she insisted at the time.
