The ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ actor was apprehended by police in New York on Saturday (25.03.23) for an alleged domestic dispute with an unnamed woman, but he insisted he did not had done nothing wrong.
A statement from the New York Police Department (NYPD) said: “On Saturday, March 25, 2023 at approximately 11:14 a.m., police responded to a 911 call inside an apartment near West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue, within the limits of the 10th arrondissement.
“A preliminary investigation has determined that a 33-year-old man was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. The victim informed police that she had been assaulted.
“Officers took the 33-year-old male into custody without incident. The victim suffered minor head and neck injuries and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.”
A spokesperson for the ‘Last Black Man in San Francisco’ actor – who is believed to be no longer in custody – insisted the star had “done nothing wrong” and was determined to clear his name.
The rep said: ‘He didn’t do anything wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.
According to TMZ, the woman – who was rushed to hospital with a laceration behind her ear and redness and marks on her face – got into an argument with Majors in a taxi as she was driving home from a bar in Brooklyn on Friday (03.24.23).
Sources told the outlet that the unnamed woman confronted the Creed III actor when she saw another woman texted him and tried to get a glimpse of his phone, infuriating the stat who would then have lambasted.
The couple spent the night apart before the woman reported a crime to the police the following morning.
