Jonathan Majors denies assaulting a woman last weekend in New York and his legal team says there is evidence to prove it.
Thursday morning, the Creed III the actor’s attorney released three text messages allegedly sent by the woman involved in the assault case, and said UrbanHollywood411 the actor was arrested “due to NYPD protocol requiring arrest in certain circumstances.”
The first message read, “Please let me know you are well when you receive this. They assured me that you will not be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw my injuries and they knew we had a fight.
The woman did not provide further details on the type of injuries sustained.

“I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone,” the first message continued.
The second message read, “I love you.”
In the final message, the woman wrote, “I have reiterated that this was not an attack and they do not have my blessing for the charges.”
“I read the document they gave me about the strangulation and said point-blank that it didn’t happen and should be taken down immediately,” she added. “I also said to tell the judge that the origin of the call was related to my breakdown and fainting and your concern as a partner due to our prior communication. Out of care. She promised that everything would be relayed.

Majors, 33, was arrested on Saturday March 25. He was arraigned on Sunday and charged with third-degree assault, three counts of attempted third-degree assault, one count of second-degree aggravated harassment and one count of harassment. in the second degree, the prosecutor’s office said. The charges are all misdemeanors.
Chaudhry also said Majors was the one who called 911 out of concern for his companion, who was allegedly suffering from an “emotional breakdown”.
