Stern joined the Wall Street Journal in March 2017 initially as a Deputy Chief Video Editor. She managed the editorial direction of The Wall Street Journal’s video department, raising the quality, creativity, and reporting of video journalism. She was named the personal technology columnist where she reviews the latest consumer technology products.
Stern began her career at Laptop Magazine as a news editor in March 2007. She then joined Engadget in December 2009 as a reviews editor. In April 2011, she joined The Verge as a senior reviews editor. She developed and built the magazine’s product review program, including a scoring system, testing methodology, and video strategy.
In February 2012, Stern joined ABC News as a Technology Editor where She wrote consumer technology stories for ABCNews.com.
