Jasmin Savoy Brown is an American actress. She is known for her role in the HBO mystery drama series The Leftovers, the ABC legal drama series For the People, and the Showtime psychological drama series Yellowjackets. Brown was born and raised in Alameda, California, USA.
She started acting at the age of 4 when she performed in a musical show at church. After that, Brown participated in numerous musical clubs, choirs, Oregon Children’s Choir and Upstart Crow Studios, among others. She moved to Portland, Oregon to pursue her acting career, where she started with a minor role in NBC’s Grimm and Freeform’s The Fosters.
