Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne will host a new game show

Jamie Foxx and daughter Corinne Foxx are teaming up with Fox TV for a new show.

The network made the announcement Monday, May 15, saying the father-daughter duo will host a guessing game show titled We are a family. Jamie will also serve as executive producer alongside Jeff Apploff and Matilda Zoltowski, who will serve as showrunner.

In a joint statement, Jamie and Corinne said the program would begin in 2024.

“We are delighted to develop We are a family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at Fox Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam“, Jamie and Corinne Foxx said in a press release. “We hope this show brings as much enjoyment to audiences at home as we had creating it when it premiered next year.”

Per Fox, the show will feature non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their famous hidden family member. There will be a studio audience of 100 contestants playing through multiple rounds of clues to win up to $100,000 each if they can correctly guess which celebrity the artist is linked to before the big reveal.

Jamie and Corinne also host the Fox musical game show Beat Shazam, which Nick Cannon and guest DJ Kelly Osborne will co-host this season due to Jamie’s recent hospitalization. Season 6 will air on May 23.

The actor and singer was hospitalized last month due to an unknown medical complication. He was in Atlanta when filming the next Netflix movie Back to action.

Foxx released his first statement since being hospitalized on May 3, thanking his fans and friends for “all the love” after his health scare.
