Instagram is down worldwide – FOX3 Now

You are not alone in this case. Instagram is currently facing a widespread outage that is being reported around the world, and there is no estimated date for when the service will be restored.

Down Detector, a platform that monitors website outages, received an overwhelming number of over 98,000 reports in the last 15 minutes regarding Instagram being inaccessible.

When trying to load a user’s home feed, the app displays error messages such as “Sorry, something went wrong” or “Sorry, the feed could not be refreshed”. Like other popular social media platforms including Facebook and TikTok, Instagram has become a crucial tool for individuals and businesses around the world.

It should be noted that Instagram experienced another outage a few days ago, although this incident appears to have had a more limited impact.

The recent Instagram outage was originally reported by Gizmodo Australia, with Down Detector receiving around 1,000 outage reports.

Meta, the parent company of Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, has yet to respond to inquiries sent Sunday evening ET.

I will provide updates to this article if I receive further information.
