Ian Hanomansing Biography

Ian Hanomansing is a well-known Canadian television journalist currently working as a reporter and host for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Previously, he reported for CBC Television’s nightly newscast, The National, and also hosted CBC News Network Vancouver on CBC News Network.

He was named a co-anchor of The National on August 1, 2017. Currently, Ian anchors the show on Fridays and Sundays. From 2020 until 2022, he served as interim host of CBC Radio One’s weekly call-in show Cross Country Checkup. He as well designed an NHL-licensed board game, Big League Manager in 2006.
