The grandfather of Lori Vallow’s murdered son JJ jubilantly sang the little boy’s favorite song ‘We will rock you’ as he left Idaho court following the mother’s murder conviction worship.
Larry Woodcock and his wife, Kay, joined cheering crowds to celebrate the guilty verdict before the couple made an emotional statement to the press outside the courtroom in Boise, Idaho.
Vallow, 49, was convicted of the murders of her children JJ Vallow, seven, and Tylee Ryan, 16, and of conspiring to murder Tammy Daybell.
The Woodcocks were present in court throughout the trial and also led the public campaign to find Vallow’s children after they disappeared in September 2019.
‘JJ, I love you. Dad wishes you were here,’ Larry Woodcock said in tears in court after the verdict. ‘Tylee – daddy loves you. Tammy – I’ve never met you. You are part of our life. I’m sorry for what happened. My heart aches for those three.

He then spoke about the upcoming trial of alleged Vallow conspirator Chad Daybell – who denies the charges and is expected to face a jury in 2024.
Woodcock said: “The next trial is Chad. I can’t wait to be back in that courthouse if that happens.
“I hope everyone is back. I hope you appreciate the judicial system, the meticulousness, the meticulousness of the prosecution. I think everyone will agree.
“It was, it was amazing work from all of them. And I want you all to know that even the defense, I shook their hands. I’ve said it many times, I want a fair, honest and just decision.
He also thanked the jury and said, “I want to personally thank and want to personally hug each of these jurors.”
“I hope no one ever has to go through, I hope no one ever has to see and hear the details of what happened to JJ, Tylee and Tammy.”

Vallow was unmoved as the verdict was read aloud today in Boise, Idaho. His defense team called no witnesses and offered no explanation for the children’s deaths.
Lori’s children disappeared in September 2019. Their mother, newly in love with Doomsday cult follower Chad Daybell, avoided questioning and evaded authorities.
She fled to Hawaii, refusing to tell the police the whereabouts of her children or answer any questions not only about her children, but also about the vast web of death and deceit that seemed to engulf her family.
Lori, who was deemed mentally fit to stand trial, now faces life in prison. A judge previously removed the death penalty from the table.
