NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo and girlfriend Mariah Riddlesprigger are expecting baby number three!
They announced their big news in a cute Instagram post on Wednesday, and fans couldn’t be more excited about the couple who are parents to 3-year-old Liam and 1-year-old Maverick.
Giannis and Mariah have announced that they are expecting baby 3!
Antetokounmpo and Riddlesprigger shared their news on their Instagram pages, “Our dreams are coming true.🤍”
The photo announcing their exciting news shows the family of four, soon to be five, standing in front of pink and blue balloons draped over the word ‘Baby’. Of course, their fans predicted if the baby would be their third boy or if it would be their first girl.
“Giannis would be the ultimate daddy girl,” wrote one fan. Another added: “A girl version of Giannis would be lethal🙌🏽.”
One follower asked, “Are you trying to get a starting 5?” and another said: ‘I believe it’s a girl, that’s why he said their dreams come true. What do you all think?
Before announcing Baby 3, Giannis was named All-NBA First Team
Just hours before sharing exciting baby news, Antetokounmpo was named to the All-NBA First Team for the fifth year. And to make the report even sweeter, he was the only player to be selected unanimously.
The two-time NBA MVP was the only first-team selection with 100 votes and 500 points. Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics came in second with 98 votes and 484 points.
Other players named to the All-NBA First Team are Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The All-NBA Second Team includes Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets and Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics.
The All-NBA Third Team consists of LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Julius Randle of the New York Knicks, D’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings and Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been left out of the NBA All-Defensive Teams
Just a day before all the good news for Antetokounmpo, he shared his frustration at being left out of NBA All-Defensive teams on Instagram.
“I’m sick of the lack of respect. I’m coming,” he captioned a photo of himself with dramatic lighting to help get his point across. The post received more than 1.3 million likes and comments on the frustrating situation.
“They’re gonna stop disrespecting you…it’s time to get GIANNIS DISRESPECTFUL. You’re the best player and they’re downplaying you,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“LETSSSSSS GOOOOOOOO CHAMP 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼😤😤😤😤,” wrote another.
Nike didn’t seem too happy with the snub and left “😤” in the comments. The Bucks also thought of them with a simple “😤😤😤”.
