Netflix is set to release a new romantic comedy titled The perfect findand we have a first glimpse of what awaits you.
The film stars Gabrielle Union as Jenna Jones, a 40-year-old fashion industry veteran who returns to New York after a high-profile layoff and public breakup.
Jenna knows she only has one chance to resurrect her career and takes a job with Darcy (Gina Torres), a ruthless mogul with a reputation for being hard to work with. However, things get complicated when Jenna falls in love with her much younger colleague Eric (Keith Powers), who also happens to be Darcy’s son.

As Jenna and Eric’s romance heats up, she must decide if she’ll risk it all in a secret relationship, and if their age difference will be too much to overcome.
In an interview with vanity loungeUnion explained that she wanted to do something she had never done before with the film.
“It really sparked something in me about older women and how we can often disappear from society, almost, in terms of people looking at us like we’re past our prime,” Union said. “But baby, I’m thriving.”
In addition to Union, Powers and Torres, the film stars Aisha Hinds, DB Woodside, Janet Hubert and La La Anthony.
The film is based on the book by Tia Williams and directed by Numa Perrier, with a screenplay by Leigh Davenport.
The film’s producers include Glendon Palmer, Gabrielle Union, Jeff Morrone, Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver. Executive producers include Stuart Ford, Miguel A. Palos, Linda McDonough, Holly Shakoor Fleischer, Melissa Jones, Leigh Davenport and Matthew Myers.
The perfect find hits Netflix worldwide on June 23.
