Gabby Logan Biography
Gabrielle Nicole Logan is a famous Welsh television and radio presenter. Currently, Nicole is working as a sports presenter for BBS Sport. Previously, she worked as an international rhythmic gymnast who represented Wales and Great Britain. She is originally from Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. In 2020 she was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) of New Year Honours.
Logan went to school at Cardinal Heenan High School and later attended Notre Dame Sixth Form College in Leeds. In high school, she participated in sports games like netball and high jump. Her athletic career took off when she was placed in rhythmic gymnastics to represent Wales at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland. She made her first television appearance in 1991 when she entered the Rose of Tralee competition as Leeds Rose. Besides that, she also plays golf and runs.
After graduating from Durham University, Yorath was hired as a presenter at Metro Radio in Newcastle. She later joined Sky Sports as a presenter and worked there for two years before moving to ITV Network. At ITV, Logan was a sports presenter and covered major sports news including the UEFA Champions League. In 2016 Gabby left ITV and joined BBS Sport. While there, she covered the Rugby World Cup and presented Britain’s show called Brilliant Prodigies.

After stepping back for her maternity leave in 2004, she returned in 2015 and presented the reality series Flockstars on ITV. During his time at BBS Sport, Logan covered major showpiece events like the fourth FA Cup between Luton Town and Blackburn Rovers. She also hosted Final Score from 2009 to 2013. In 2008, Gabby replaced Craig Doyle as host of BBC Six Nations Championship coverage. Later, she became the main athletics presenter for BBC Sport. From 2013 to 2014, she covered the World Championships in Athletics and the European Championships in Athletics.
Prior to this, Gabby also hosted the BBC One series I Love My Country, starring Micky Flanagan and Frank Skinner. Additionally, she was a member of the Invictus Games on BBC One as well as the media team. In addition to this, she has also hosted the BBC’s IAAF coverage in London and the IAAF World Championships in Athletics. Beginning in 2022, Logan has hosted coverage of the Women’s Six Nations Championship.
