Florida police have called off a search for Drake Bell after the actor was found safe Thursday afternoon.
“At this time, we can confirm that law enforcement officials are in contact and that Mr. Bell is safe,” the Daytona Beach Police Department announced on Facebook at 1:26 p.m. local time.
The announcement came hours after police said in a Facebook post on Thursday morning that Bell was missing.
“Officers are looking for Jared Bell,” the post read, referring to the actor’s real name, Drake Jared Bell. “He is considered missing and in danger.”
Bell, 36, was last seen around 9 p.m. Wednesday traveling in a gray 2022 BMW, police said.

Born in Newport Beach, California, Bell began his entertainment career as a child in the early 1990s.
He is also a singer and rose to fame as a teenager on Nickelodeon. The Amanda Show with Amanda Bynes.
He then landed a show with Josh Peck titled Drake and Josh. The series aired on the channel from 2004 to 2007.
Bell is no stranger to policing.
In 2021, he pleaded guilty to the felony of attempted child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating material harmful to minors in Cleveland, Ohio. He was sentenced to two years probation and community service in the case, which involved a girl he met online. The girl attended one of Bell’s concerts at the age of 15. She accused the star of having ‘groomed’ her since she was 12 and of committing sexual misconduct, which Bell’s lawyer denied.
In 2016, Bell did not contest a misdemeanor DUI charge in the Los Angeles suburb of Glendale, California. He was sentenced to four days in jail and four years probation.
In 2010, he was convicted of driving under the influence in San Diego.
