Dr. Jan Harm Pol is one of the older heads in the reality television world. The Michigan-based veterinarian plays the lead role in “The Incredible Dr. Pol,” and has been in the series for over a decade. With a dedicated fan base, growing success, and an illustrious career, things seem to be going right for the incredible doctor. For all his professional success, the man has faced devastating personal tragedies. His grandson Adam James Butch died at a young age in 2019 and lost his son-in-law, Gregory Butch a couple of years earlier in 2016. The death count in the Pol family further goes with the death of Dr. Pol’s brother, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law. Also, Dr. Pol’s daughter Diane Pol Jr. was just a kid when she lost her biological mother to cancer.
Death of Dinae Pol Jr. biological mother:
Diane Pol Jr. was born on March 27, 1973, to Joann, who was a friend of Diane Pol. Naming her daughter after a friend goes to show us how close Joann and Diane Pol were. While Diane Jr. was still a child, Joann was diagnosed with cancer in 1981. Even though her days were numbered, Joann made sure to raise Diane Jr. in the presence of both parents and asked Diane Pol to take her in.
Diane Jr. joined the Pol household at the age of 9 after the death of her biological mother. She was raised in Michigan alongside Charles Pol and Kathy Pol and as a grown-up Diane Jr. is thankful to both of her mothers and has gone on to show appreciation toward them.
