Damon Bruce is a sports radio host in the United States. Currently, he and Ray Ratto co-host the Damon and Ratto Show on San Francisco, California’s KGMZ-FM “95.7 the Game.” He began his radio broadcasting career in the late 1990s by serving as a producer with KNBR situated in San Francisco.
Eventually, the journalist hosted Sports Overnight America before becoming a correspondent for ESPN Radio and Sporting News Radio. He returned to KNBR 680 in 2005 after working in Columbus, Ohio, and Fort Wayne, Indiana. He hosted Sportsphone 680 on KNBR 680. From 2010 until 2014, the journalist also presented an afternoon conversation program on KNBR’s sister station, KTCT “KNBR 1050.”

Before leaving San Francisco’s KNBR 680 in 2000 to work as a host on Sports Overnight America, he was a producer at that station. Before taking over as a host for Fox Sports Radio and Sporting News Radio, he first served as an anchor-reporter for ESPN Radio and ESPN International. On Columbus, Ohio sports station 1460 the Fan, Damon, and Kirk Herbstreit co-hosted a show called The Big Show during the afternoon drive time until December 2004.
In March 2005, the journalist took over as morning announcer at Fort Wayne, Indiana-based news/talk station WOWO. He returned to KNBR in October 2005 as the host of the evening shows Sportsphone 680. He went on an eight-minute rant in November 2013, accusing women of being overrepresented in sports media. Among other things, he had a debate encouraging public criticism of suspected Richie Incognito, a Miami Dolphins football player accused of harassing his teammate Jonathan Martin.
