Early Life and Education
There is very limited information when it comes to Christina’s life before her professional start as an actress; she hasn’t shared any information about her family and childhood. There are also no details as to how she developed an interest towards acting, but at a young age, she decided to pursue a career in entertainment.
She moved to New York City to study, enrolling at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, a professional conservatory for actors. The school has been operating since 1915, and is known for being the birthplace of the Meisner technique of acting, named after teacher Sanford Meisner.
The focus of such an approach is for the actor to develop techniques rooted in repetition, which focuses more on the other actor as opposed to one’s internal thoughts or feelings associated with their character. The teachings are often confused with Lee Strasberg’s method acting, as both techniques take root from the teachings of Konstantin Stanislavski.
Rise to Fame – Mystery Hunters
In 2002 at the age of just 13, Broccolini started to gain a lot of attention for her work in the documentary television series entitled “Mystery Hunters”.
The show aired through YTV in Canada, and through Discovery Kids in the United States, also in Japan on a dub through NHK. In the show, she investigates real-life reports of mysteries such as UFOs, dinosaurs, creatures, spirits, and legends. They use science to try and find explanations for sightings, as well as eye-witness accounts. A scientist named Doubting Dave is also featured in the show, trying to explain mysterious personal experiences mailed in by viewers. The show gained numerous awards and accolades throughout its run, including a Japan Prize, Parent’s Choice Award, and numerous Gemini Award nominations.
Her next big acting project wouldn’t come until five years later, when she starred in a short film entitled “The Bartender”. In 2010, she was cast in a support role in the sitcom entitled “Blue Mountain State”, which aired through the Paramount Network, and focused on a fictional university and its football team. The show airs numerous aspects of university of life, such as American Football, binge drinking, sex, wild partying, drugs, and hazing.
In recent years, Christina has had a string of film and television projects.
She worked on the documentary entitled “What Happens Next?” which follows the story of singer and songwriter Dan Mangan, and was nominated for a Leo Award in 2013. She also appeared in the television movie entitled “The Perfect Boss”, which follows the story of a researcher who discovers the truth about a drug in a pharmaceutical company; the company then goes to extreme lengths to prevent the researcher from going public with the findings.
In 2014, she was cast in the film “I Love You” which starred Victoria Rowell and Glen Ratcliffe, and worked on the short film “Clubscene”, which is a coming of age story about a young clubber who realizes there must be something more to life.
After the film’s success, the creators contemplated creating a web series to further explore the world and the characters, but it hasn’t been continued as a series. She also worked on the short horror film entitled “You Are So Undead”, and other projects she’s appeared in include “Face Divided” and “Street Lure”.

Personal Life and Social Media
For her personal life, not much is known in terms of her romantic relationships. Despite all of her acting projects, she has managed to keep this part of her life away from the public, leading many sources to believe that she is single.
It is noted that she stopped acting projects sometime after 2014, which is an indication that she has decided to focus on other endeavors. One of the reasons that support this likelihood is the fact that she has failed to replicate the same success she had while working on “Mystery Hunters”.
Another reasons why there is very limited information about her, is due to the lack of a strong online presence, on major social media websites such as Facebook and Instagram.
She previously had an account on the website Twitter, which she used to promote her short film projects and interacted with fans, but it became inactive in 2011 and she has not been seen online since. There are numerous fan pages dedicated to her, with people following her from her early days of acting. However, with no sign of her returning to her career, these fan pages are also slowly losing support and attention.
