Celebrity Stylist Law Roach Says His Suffering ‘Reflected’ On Zendaya

Law Roach has set the record straight on what made him suddenly retire from his job as a celebrity stylist.

The fashion insider said he was unhappy because work was taking his life.

“I just started realizing that I’m not in a relationship, I’ve never been in a relationship,” he told model Emily Ratajkowski on her “High Low” podcast. “The last eight, nine years I’ve just been focused on my career, blinders on, so I’ve lost a lot of friends, and then my friends don’t live the same lifestyle. So we can’t, I can’t can’t plan a trip with them. They’re like, ‘Oh, we’re going to Miami.’ And I’m like, ‘If I don’t work, I’ll come.’ But usually I work.

Her client list includes Zendaya, Kerry Washington, Celine Dion, Megan Thee Stallion, Priyanka Chopra and Tiffany Haddish. Although he is best known as Zendaya’s “image architect”.

Law Roach said he worked with the Euphoria star for 11 years, but she learned of her retirement at the same time as everyone else.

“Okay, so Zendaya, it’s the four of us, it’s Zendaya, her assistant Darnell, her niece, and myself. We’re her core, we’re the core. And so she called, she said, “My daughter, I thought we would make big decisions together,” he recalls.

Still, Law Roach said the actress was very supportive.

“She’s like, ‘Do you need me to send you on vacation? Like, tell me what, tell me what you’re going through,’ and I talked to her about just being unhappy and being unhappy for a really long time. a long time,” he said. “She was like ‘all you need,’ but the internet is cruel.”

The stylist admitted he was embarrassed that social media users were blaming Zendaya for her retirement due to an interaction between the two at a fashion show earlier this month.
