Bayern Munich suspend Senegalese player for punching Leroy Sane in the face

Sadio Mane, a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich, has been suspended by the German professional sports club for what they call a ‘foul’.

Sadio Mane has been suspended for apparently punching teammate Leroy Sane in the face after his side lost 3-0 to Manchester City.

Sadio punched Sané in the face after the game at the Etihad Stadium.

According to the available details, the two players argued on the pitch but “after the final whistle, Sadio Mané complained about the way Sané spoke to him on the pitch and attacked Sané by punching him in the face” , reports BILD.

Bayern confirmed in a statement earlier today that Sadio had been left out of the squad for the crucial Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

The club also said Mane, who earns £17million a year, will receive an undisclosed fine.

However, both players; Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane have apologized to the squad for their misconduct.
