AURORA, Ill. (WLS) — A large fire broke out in a western suburban home on a very hot Friday afternoon.
Chopper 7HD was above the scene, capturing large flames and lots of black smoke.
Not much remains of at least one structure, which was engulfed in flames. Another structure was smoldering, and a nearby utility pole also caught fire.
Firefighters were on hand to tame the flames. It is not yet known if anyone was in the house when the fire broke out or if anyone was injured.
Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the fire.
