Anna Palmer is an American journalist. She is the founder and CEO of Punchbowl News, a content company and news community focused on Power, People, and Politics in Washington. She initially worked as a senior Washington Correspondent at POLITICO.
Palmer began her career at The American Prospect as an Editorial Assistant. She joined Legal Times in October 2004 as a reporter and business editor. While there, she was among the journalists who investigated the activities of lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who organized an enormous network of corruption.
In 2007, Anna joined Roll Call in Washington, DC as a staff writer. She moved to POLITICO in 2011 as a senior Washington Correspondent. While there, she was among the reporters who reported and investigated sexual harassment allegations against Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain.
In January 2021, Palmer launched her company Punchbowl News where she is the founder and CEO. Punchbowl News is a content company and news community focused on Power, People, and Politics in Washington.
