Update: Kyle Foreman, an officer with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office in Washington State, confirmed a shooting that occurred at the Gorge Amphitheater Campground near George Washington.
The concert tonight or this weekend is the electronic dance music festival Beyond Wonderland which was taking place in the venue several hundred meters from where the shooting happened, which was in the camping on the other side of the room. The shooting occurred around 8:23 p.m. where there was a port of gunfire from people in the crowd.
The shooter then moved away from the scene of the incident. The police went to the scene to try to find him. The shooter continued to fire randomly into the crowd and the suspect was eventually taken into custody.
We have victims. We can now confirm that there were two dead and three wounded, including the shooter.
Update 10:52 p.m.: Five confirmed injuries. The suspect is in custody. The scene was secured.
Update 10:42 p.m.: Reports of a shooter received around 8:25 p.m. at the CAMPSITE near George. Officers shook hands, approached the suspect and took him into custody. Several people were injured by bullets.

The sheriff’s office announced that the shooter had been apprehended. There are unconfirmed reports of multiple casualties, although the precise number is still unknown.

Around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, authorities received reports of an “active shooter” at the outdoor concert hall near Quincy in Grant County, located about 113 miles southeast of Seattle.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert, advising people at the Gorge Amphitheater to take cover and ordering them to ‘run, hide or fight’ if they come into contact with the suspect .
At this time, there is no information available regarding possible injuries, and we are actively seeking further details. A large emergency services presence has been dispatched to the scene as officers work to secure the area.
“Please avoid the Gorge Gate H Campgrounds area as it is closed due to an incident which has been handled by local authorities,” the festival said in a statement. “There is currently no danger to festival-goers or campgrounds.”
