A fight broke out at Lombard Carnival, no shootings were reported

UPDATE: Earlier in the evening, Lombard police responded to a call for a disturbance at the carnival located near the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Roosevelt Road where a fight between several individuals had broken out.

The carnival was eventually closed and as groups of individuals left the area, several continued to cause trouble as they headed east along Roosevelt Road.

At that time, all the groups of people dispersed and the police cleared the area.

ORIGINAL POSITION:

There is currently a police presence in the carnival area at Fairfield Avenue and Roosevelt Road where police are investigating a reported disturbance.

It has been determined that there are currently no active threats to the public.
