50 Cent might be worth around $50 million, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t flinch when he suddenly received a $10,000 Apple Cash request from his 10-year-old son, Sir Jackson.
The G-Unit honcho shared a screenshot of the message he received on his iPhone over the weekend from his son Sire, who knows how rich his dad is even at 10. “Just got this from my son SIRE, [side eyes emoji],” the rapper-turned-TV mogul wrote. “He’s 10 years old, I hope that’s a joke.”
50 Cent hasn’t said whether or not he sent the requested money, but one thing he’s never shied away from is his love for his son, which he shared with model Daphne Joy. Some fans wonder how a 10-year-old understands this key feature of Apple iOS, but let’s not forget that kids these days are very tech-savvy, even far more so than their parents.
Maybe he even picked up a thing or two from his dad, who’s been a hustler since a young age. It would be different for him not to pass on his money-making skills to his children. Even at the age of 10, Sire earns more money than the vast majority of the population. His first modeling contract earned him a hefty salary of $700,000 when he was just a toddler.
Sire also already has a foothold in the entertainment industry with his first film role. Last year in August, 50 Cent announced that his son had landed a role in an upcoming horror movie titled Skill House. The rapper also shared a clip of his son taking inspiration from the film’s director, Josh Stolberg.
Sire is also a scholar at a young age. Last September, 50 Cent also took to Instagram to point out that his son received the Student of the Month award at his language arts school. “My boy becomes the student of the month”, writes Fif while beaming with pride.
Although 50 Cent has a great relationship with his youngest son, his eldest, Marques Jackson, recently revealed that they have a strained relationship and don’t speak to each other. Fif shares Marques, 26, with his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins. Marques recently said he wanted to mend fences with his dad and was willing to sit down and have a chat with him to work things out. 50 Cent responded to her request saying he was being dishonest in using the situation to get attention.
“If you agree, I agree. I’m more than willing to sit down with him so I can hear his perspective and gain some understanding. We’re both men at the end of the day – we should be able to agree and disagree and that’s no problem,” Marquise said.
