3 children dead after shooting at The Covenant Presbyterian School, suspect shot dead by police

At the Covenant School in Nashville, an active aggressor situation is currently being handled by the police, fire department and ATF.

Reports suggest that three children were shot, but their condition is currently unknown.

To ensure student safety, a meeting point has been established at Woodmont Baptist Church at 2100 Woodmont Blvd for parents to meet their children attending Covenant School at 33 Burton Hills Blvd.

The Covenant School is a private Christian school in Nashville that caters to children in kindergarten through 6th grade, and they conducted an active shooter training program last year.

Due to the emergency response, part of Harding Place has been closed and there may be delays on WeGo bus routes, even those not directly affected by the shooting.

Several Nashville leaders released statements in response to the incident.

This is a developing story that will be updated when more information becomes available.
